Modified Water Restrictions In Effect August 7th 2020

Starting Friday, August 7th 2020, the Township will be shifting to modified water restrictions. On even calendar dates, even-numbered addresses will be allowed mechanical watering (being the use of hoses and pressure washers) without restriction. On odd calendar dates, odd-numbered addresses will be allowed the same. No mechanical watering will be permitted when it is not the resident’s assigned day.

Cooling Centre
Cooling Centre Open Week of July 7th 2020

A heat warning is in effect. The Township of Russell will open a daytime cooling centre to provide relief from the heat to residents in need Tuesday July 6th 2020 from 10am to 7pm in the upstairs hall of the Embrun Arena (6 Blais Street, Embrun). The cooling centre will be open everyday the week of July 6th until the heat warning is lifted.
